need something a bit smaller than my 26" cruisers to carry up and down a flight of steps at work everyday.. so I came up with this

24" 50's Huffy frame with 20" tires, Bratz springer, Schwinn bars and stem, and three speed wheels courtesy of a Worksman folder.

it's a pedal scraper for sure hahaha

I think you're gonna start a new trend!...That really looks good!

Good thinking. You have the smaller, lighter 20 inch wheels, but the 24 inch frame allows you to stretch out a bit while riding. it would make a great bike for apartment dwellers that are not fortunate enough to have a ground floor unit.

pedal scraper wasn't the word for this bike

pedal slammer/body launcher would be a bit more accurate. After the thrid or fourth launch, I lost count due to head trauma I think, I decided to run 24"s on it... and then this happened...

Looks great. I have done the pedal slammer/body launcher on my fixed gear while cornering. You can't stop pedalling for the corners on a fixie.

You could also have just upped the tires on the 20" rims like some 20x3's, or add a 26" fork for a little added ground clearance. also a shorter crank arm would work too but makes the ride not as enjoyable.

the only problem with that is that sounds like it costs money :D and I have to be a god boy with spending right now.. :?
I also did run the original 26" fork that was on this frame with 20" and 24" tires for a minute, but I had all these parts laying around lol

but i will keep the taller tires in mind as I have a girls 24" frame that i may try to flip over and ride in the future

found more parts for some ram's horn looking bars.. plus a better shot of it with the "midlight"

and what you see on the bike.. bars still need tweaked a bit to get them perfect

the "mid"light is awesome.. point it forward for safety, or down for a neon glow effect under the bike

this is my get-a-way plan... if needed

thanks.. I live near the Dennison Depot so there are always trains and cars sitting around.. makes for lots of great backdrops lol

adding a rear box carrier...stole the brackets from a baby seat.. still have to cut it to fit under the seat, and actually mount it to the brackets lol

Cool, I used the same baby seat brackets to mount the ammo can on my military bike build.

haha.. nice.. pretty sure I wasn't the only one who saw potential in those things.. I have another I am taking apart and saving for later..
