Hello i am new here and have been enjoying riding adult cruiser style bikes (single speed) for some time. I recently discovered that i like vintage banana bikes 20 in. size. I just got 2 nice ones that i will post pics of later today.

I have a question. Is it akward or should i feel alittle embarassed by riding a 20 in. banana bike at the local state park on the paved biking trails seeing as i am a 43. yr. old adult standing 5ft. 6in. around 180lbs. I love all my bikes and espically my banana bikes but if this makes me as an adult look silly the bikes can stay at home.

One of the local bike clubs here Sacramento recently sponsored a 20" muscle bike build. There was probably 40 to 50 adults riding 20" bikes!

To me there's nothing wrong with riding any bike as long as you are enjoying the ride...and not putting anyone around you in any kind of danger

Or, you could do what I am doing and make a bigger banana seat bike. This one is 26", I am still working out the final layout before I start paint work.
