hello,
I want to tell you all that I am impressed with the style and craftsmanship of your bikes, I love the old schwinn cruisers and also I love old vw's. I have about 5 old schwinn middleweight frames, one prewar, and one non shwinn a hawthorne twin tube thing. I am not much of a mechanic but like the old ratty style that many of you have perfected, and am using it for inpiration on some of my lower level builds,

Sure sounds like you're getting started on the right foot. Now all you need is:

1) A wife or girlfriend who doesn't understand your bike obsession
2) To find a ridiculously rare bike at an insanely low price, or have it given to you free of charge
3) Have a friend with a backyard full of bikes he might or might not be willing to sell, but that you will post pictures of and we all will drool over
