NEXT Generation Rumblebee (MBBO Class 1)

Going to put one in the running. First build off build. Got this bike for free, had the buzz bike chain guard, might run the 24 inch drum brake single speed wheel in the rear with a 16 inch front, still up in the air. Will be going to a 26 inch fork for sure. Just decided to put a cheap modern bike to good use.

This is the front wheel I am planning to use. Radial spoked chrome with a 16 X 1.75 tire.

It is from a Western Flyer Buzz Bike Jr. Not sure of the year, found it in a DAV thrift store for $3.50 . Thought it was pretty cool so it followed me home. It and the front wheel are actually all I had to start with.

There are 4 here in Wichita all within 15 minutes of me. Get a lot of my bikes there.

Going to start stripping stickers and paint today. Bars and hopefully seat will be bought or built next weekend. Planning to do the sissy bar myself and may be even a wheelie bar.

Went and looked at bars and seats today. Now, which to get first? Bars range from 11 to 15 inch rise. Small and agile or bigger is better?
