nirve seat

I need s comfy seat for my cutom ratfink, the seat I have now is just to hard pn my butt!

I noticed that some of you are using nirve seat for you ratrod

i'm looking to buy this one

are they comfy?
should i get one with springs instead?

The quality is good stuff. I nearly bought that one too, but I saw it at a bike shop and noticed that it wasn't as padded or springy as some of their other models so I picked a different one....second one down on this page with the flames:

If comfort isn't a huge issue then the brown seat will probably be awesome. Love the tooled look.

I'm really looking for some confort compared to my regular bike seat I have...i'm wondering if anyone using the one i showed is satisfied and find them comfy enough...

does your seat have regular rails? they say it come with the clamp...I have a regular mtb seatpost with integrated clamp so i want to make sure thoses thing are not setup with square clamps or any other werd type camp

Mine came with the crash rail in the back and a normal seat clamp. The springs and the rail and the clamp were all chrome.

I actually have one of the Electra seats on my Nirve cruiser, both have round rails so you can use an mtb seatpost with them just remove the stock seat clamp. I have the one below on my Nirve right now, but I got it way cheaper at an LBS on sale, like $30 or so, it's pretty cushy and comfortable, it has a black undercarriage which was part of the selling point.
