This Nishiki MTB was on CL for 100. I offered 50 a month ago. He replied yesterday that he would accept. I replied that I didnt need it now. His reply was 30? YUP. Its 1 year old, not a scratch on it. Disc brakes. I lubed it and adjusted the shifters. Wow, it is awesome.

He relisted it for 50 last week. I didnt see it. I guess no replies. Christmas money is hard to get .......He got 10% of what he spent,now. He needed 2 flats fixed on his cars. I felt bad....well, not THAT bad..
I just got back from a few mile ride in the woods. Im wore out, and happy. Good bike.

Great find. Until recently I had passed on most chances at mountain bikes. I recently bought a couple and I love them.

This mongoose is my favorite , I suppose.

That bike wouldn't have lasted more than a few hours at $100 on my local craigslist. Heck, I'd have bought it for $100 and flipped it for double.
