got the top yoke roughed out ready for finishing, gonna get the lower cut'n'shut tomorrow and upload photos then when its better weather as its p****ng down at moment.

after about 4 hours work today, i finally got both yokes done.

gonna be making another plate to cover the top of the lower yoke.

doesnt look straight, thats cause the top yoke needs filing to shapeand the axel spacings a bit off.

got the bars mounted just after the last photos, how she's sitting now.

front tyre looks bigger than rear because the rear has a dodgy valve, so wasn't fully inflated.

couple shots outsides, was a bit dark.

as for pedal clearance,

all thats left is to hook up the front brake, add a couple extra links to the chain and tidy up the yokes.

been thinking of a repaint, seen as i work for the military i have access to some of the olive drab paint used on tanks/landrovers/etc, i'm thinking olive drab frame,black forks/rims/bars/sissy bar.

nice brake. have never tried it before. I have a front rim that is going on SWAMP RAT that is for a disk brake but I really don't know what to use for the rest. anyways, nice job.

thanks guys.

now its done and rideable i can start thinking about painting it.

i'll see if we still have some olive drab paint left at work, if so i'll bring some back for it.

That looks great! Love the fat front and back. I'd like to a 'Brit' spin on a military paint scheme!

Any details on the front disc setup? I'm building out a front wheel for my OCC and was goingto use the scooter brake, buy if a spin on/bolt on disc is an option...hmmmmm.

yep, its one of the screw on brake adaptors that goeswhere the freewheel screws on.

the brake is an avid bb7 with 203mm rotor, the mount i made myself it clamps between fork lef and nuts on axel with a couple spacers.,

Olly, what did ya use for the mount. that really looks nice. if I could find somthing like that I would put in on Swamp Rat on the front rim I am using. thanks, now lets see some pic's of this bad boy.
