I've recently had a bug to build up the BMX bike I wanted when I was 11. It's not the Redline I pined after back then, but I think it will be "totally awesome" to build! 1982 Schwinn Predator. I'm thinking a white theme. White Skyways?... I think so.

It has already started. I got so excited that I just bought a set of white NOS Skyways. I have the fever.

I had a few minutes today so I grabbed a rag and some WD-40 and quickly went over the frame. I was surprised at the great shape it's in. A lot of what I thought was light pitting and scratches turned out to be dirt and old decal goo. I'm stoked! I'm going to need to do a little research on how to really polish up this bad boy.

Great bike! Got a couple or three Predators out in the garage too. They ride smooth and fast!
