I have a BSA Roadster frame thats been lying around for years. It's probably coming on 90-100 years old a d has found its poor self a distraction from other things in my life.
My intention is to make it a reliable mode of transport again in this flat little city.
Currently I have scavenged a modern wheelset (I tend to break the old and rusty), a little bigger than the 26" set it most likely came with, and reassembled the frame and forks, using nuts and bearings off a later model Raleigh I sliced up for a now abandoned project.
Its dark and I already spent the evening installing bearings by firelight, so pictures will have to wait for now.

Well, this is it today. I reversed the seatpost to get the seat low and far back enough for me, drilled a hole in the forks to mount brakes on (following an existing hole in the rear, its a touch too low. Bent a couple of panniers to fit, put on an old chain and wheels I found in an alley. The handlebars and gooseneck are scrounged too. All in all, it was a lot of fun to ride until the pedal fell off! More to come.

Lovin the chain n wheels from an alley! the last 2 bikes ive built heve come from kerbside (sidewalk) throw out's.
from my side of the screen it looks to be a solid cruiser!
