Today I got the frame and chaingaurd cleaned and sprayed with clear coat Satin finish. Just 2 light coats to seal in all the original paint and patina.

Looks great, but you should edit the post and select Full Image. Do this for all of your posts so that people can see the pics without having to click on them to enbiggen them.

Today I added a handlebar mock up.

I took off the normal top brace of the springer and ran the top but through the light bracket. It now serves a dual purpose. Love how the light sits in it now.

I found out after looking at the Serial# that the bike is a 1954 Five Star Superb. I wish I had the original tank and rear rack. Maybe one day.

Thanks man. These bars are awesome looking. They were made by Wald back in the 60's or 70's I believe. That's all I know

I just got a set of those this year. They are from a Murray Mark 3. I also had some faux ones made by @karfer67 five years ago for my SaltHammer build and I used them in a flipped position.
