I got a chance to get into the garage that was our local Bike shop in the 80s and early 90s. Heres all thats left, a few cool old bike posters.
Not sure why my camera decided to split this pic like this but its a cool dyno poster from the 80s

Cool GT/Vision poster

GT Pro Series Poster

Huge GT sticker on cardboard and a team Haro poster

Much newer GT DYNO poster

I so want to get the posters for when I finally open a shop but the kids of the guy arent sure if they want to part with them.

Re: Old school frestyle posters

Nice! Awesome posters. Offer a bit of cash, ALL kids love cash!

Re: Old school freestyle posters

The guy asked a mutual friend for my number, so hopefully he calls me in the next couple days with what he wants for all of the posters. Looked all over on line for a idea of the value of them and found nothing. The biggest problem is how to store them if I do get them.

Re: Old school freestyle posters

I would store them in frames.

Rolled up? wtf noone can see em then!

Re: Old school freestyle posters

They would only be stored until I can get every thing together and find a store front for my shop. So they will only be rolled up for a short while.

So the guy with the posters called me and we made a deal. the guy wants a complete cruiser bike he can rebuild for all the posters. hmmmm now to find a cruiser Im not attached too.

AWESOME DEAL!!! I'd have traded a cruiser bike for one or two posters! Are these the heavy vinyl tarp like material, cloth type, or paper?

All of them are paper except the big GT oval its a sticker. But I think thats what makes them so special, I mean how many of them has survived for over 20 years

Oh wow, yeah it's a wonder they have survived! And not torn up.
