Haha! My German isn't all that either Rickster, but luckily my Dutch is pretty good! :lol: But I can't find any pics of this bike... I'll do some more searching. That was exactly what I told a buddy of mine: Would be nice to do a reproduction of this bike!

luckily for me german and dutch are similar enough so i could idetify "stroomlijn" as aerodynamic.... :wink:

....but is it really a early version of a stretched bike or is it the early version of an recumbent bike :?: :roll:

What is funny though, that in 1934 recumbents were banned from wheeler-matches by the Intern. Wheeler Organization...

Yup, a french guy broke the hour record in the 1930s and started winning races so recumbents got banned. But I'll live to see recumbents racing in the Tour de France!
