Old school roadmaster for $10

Found this on craigslist yesterday and had to scoop it up. I plan on putting some riser mountain bike bars on it and riding to work, back from my shop when I take my car apart can't put it back together and to the bar. I'll probably paint it a pinstripe the fenders.

I look a little closer and I gues roadmaster is the model not the make. It's a AMF roadmaster. I've never heard of AMF before.

AMF bought Cleveland Welding(Roadmaster) in the early 50's

AMF stands for american manufacturing foundary (i think, i keep wanting to say machinists) and when they bought out CWC, production moved to little rock arkansas, circa 56'. yours looks like a late 60's or early 70's. probably make a good commuter. unfortunatly, the roadmaster name has been bought and sold to so many different companies and now rests with pacific cycle co. (hmmm... where is the "smilies" face that hurls?)
