old schwinn tricycle value

guy down the street is selling this old schwinn trike for $10. i thought about getting it and using the metal seat/fender for a bike build for my nephtew.

is there a large demand for old scwhinn tricycles? if i flip it, do you think it would be profitable?
gonna pick it up, just unssure of its fate. (flip/restore/modify/hack)

I don't think schwinn ever made trikes. It was probably made by Murray of Ohio. They made trikes for a number of retailers like western auto, sears....etc.

i believe your correct, based on pictures on the net, i believe its a western flyer tricycle. (can anybody confirm?)
i was just going on what the owner told me.

gonna go get it in a few hours, i'll decide its sentance later

Seeing as how it's old and in fairly good original shape, I'd try to keep it in one piece, rather than using it for projects, etc.

I can see that hanging from the roof of a restaurant.

definately i murray. looks exactly like the one i have except your is missing the truss rods in the front. and i have a different seat on it too.
