I have a frame with the #G00917 and a cw on the bottom bracket. Cant seem to locate any info on that serial #, also the rear drop outs have i guess they would be tensioners for the rear wheel.

(Please get a way to get some picts of the frame so that we may be able to get a few clues to what you have.)

Sounds like a Cleveland Welding frame. We can't date it without pictures since they repeated serial numbers

Having problems with photobucket. The seat post has a fixed clamp on it . I looked at some pics of a cleveland welding frame and it looked pretty identical. The chainstays are curved upward, i guess that is a tell tale sign of a cw.

Gotta agree with ratina with it being a Cleveland Welding frame.

What type of seat post does it take? It seems alot skinnier then current seat posts.
