I looked all over my shop for a certain pair of pliers the on Sunday. Later that night I found them in my front pocket.

Got the shifter mounted and cables run. Nothing fancy. Played with some pinstriping too. Pics tomorrow!! Just need to pick up a chain for it, mount the lights and give it a good once-over....then I'm calling it done! Simple build this year!!

It's done and can be. Nothing is ever as easy as it seems it'll be. Compromises had to be made to make the deadline.

I'm doing pics with a special "back drop" tomorrow evening, so I won't be starting my thread in the Finished section until after the pics are done.

I was done with it long before I posted that. I got some dinner and got cleaned up first.
I got off work at 6, picked up Aaron at 7, went to Walmart for a chain, took it home, put it on, showered, ate dinner and stared at it before posting.

I had it done before watching American Ninja Warrior.

Here's what it is:

1958 JC Higgins, Dana 3 speed, 57mm wheels, Kenda Kraze tires, "Hurst" shifter side mounted for the muscle car feel, gold grips to go with a Hurst car since they all had hold on them, Olds taillights and badge.

Nothing fancy.....
