Highly likely you'll be the only one cruisin a Black S/D on your hot summer pub crawls! This CLEAN summer rider CLONE is ready w/ brand new repop tires/tubes, recovered seat + new white chubs. The original black on this early '80's Tornado (?) frame is still very nice w/ repainted guard + fresh stenciling.
Approx 95% of chrome is bright + shiny w/ orig rear fender + crank/sprocket being only a touch less.
The very clean, true wheels are cs S2 exerciser hoop laced to a rebuilt Bendix redband + an equally nice "read through the spokes" S7 laced to a non fat Schwinn hub. As previously mentioned, both are mounted on brand new repop tires/tubes.
The seat is nicely recovered w/ new tag + reflector tab in place. Please note in pics the material does not have typical fake stitching between pleats. The axle mount Schwinn strut is a very clean low loop. The girly handlebars are equally clean w/ '70's stem + new white chubs.
The springer also has sweet chrome w/o scratches + is a combination of original Schwinn parts along w/ repop Schwinn parts. Front fender is nice repop.
Overall the bike catches your attention , but obviously not even close to correct.
