The wheels do not seem to be fitting the fenders properly. Is that normal?

That is what I was thinking. Even if inflated there still seems to be a lot of space. I am not a vintage specialist so wondering what else is not correct.

I don't know guys. I'm not convinced they are 26" rims. On a bike this old, often the rims are wooden or steel-clad wood. Wood rims will often warp or become misshapen from sitting in one spot for decades. We at least have an interesting debate handled in a friendly respectful manner. Maybe one of us ought to contact him for details. :?:

Even with the wrong wheels its a great bike. Would I pay the asking price for it? No, no where near, not even if I had it handy.
