I'm going to do a schwinn heavy duti build.Cut some tabs off figure how to put some v brakes, Go triple tree and all the fixins I can dig up....
Here's my VICTIM bike frame...

I think the mounts would be too high. V brake mounts are lower than the braking surface of the rim, U brake mounts are above and the arms cantilever... U brakes work better in my opinion, clearance my be an issue depending on what tires you run though...

This is U brakes with a fat 2.4, admittedly on a fattish rim though, not much clearance...

After further review I noticed today the heavy duti frame is bent notice the dent by the seat tube which looks like someone bent the frame. My question is can I switch frames I have a Schwinn red deliveri frame going to use instead. Hope it's a go!!!
