PACIFIC'S NEW SCHWINN SITE

I'm sure many of you have seen the newly updated Schwinn site and forum by Pacific.

It appears that by upgrading their forum software they have killed all of their linked articles that show up on Google...OUCH!

Wonder how long it will take for the Google-bots to recreate all the links...if that happens.

I noticed that. Of course my bookmark doesnt work anymore and it hasn' t really bothered me.

I'm with you...now that this forum has really picked up speed I hardly ever go back over to the Schwinn site.

The bikes that show up here seem to be a lot more interesting these days.

only time i go there anymore is to buy an over priced part, or ask a the schwinn nuts an oddball question.

I sorta lost steam with the Schwinn forum I started.

I think it's because there is so much going on here and I only have time for one site to focus on.

Not sure what will happen with it once the hosting contract runs out...maybe someone will want to buy the forum from me and keep it running.

Google should have caught up by now. I wonder if the Pacific has a Robots.txt in there?

I host the sites on a friend's server who helps me with all of the programming.

I host the domains through http://www.hostmonster.com

Whatever they did to their forum, it changed all of their links.
