One set of spokes came today. Spent 45 minutes after work and laced up the rear wheel.

Well, the spokes for the front wheel didn't arrive today.

After work I finished truing up the wheel and put a tire on it.

I really like these schrader tubes for these off-road bikes.

That 52 sprocket on the front to the 18 tooth red band, needs to lose about five to eight teeth to get the right gearing on the low gear. Need to check the shop and the shed to see what options to try. It's dark now, will find a flashlight after dinner.

Looks awesome! I love the fat rims. They make those tires so wide.
I love the wider look as well. Look more like a motorcycle tire to me.

I've found the wider wheels reduce side-roll when using tires wider than 2.125. I had put some 2.4s on the narrow wheels on a proflex and in softer trail conditions (deep pine needles), the tires stayed, but wheels moved sideways folding the tires, and I ended up crashing. At least the needles were softer than the gravel and rocks underneath them.

Wow! Great frame, ideas, parts, and no surprise: you know how to klunk! Will be following this dirt dream!

Awesome! Glad to get the OddJob stamp of approval from you, Lee! I Can't wait to get her to a point to go out on a trail and start testing the configuration and gear ratios.
