Has anyone painted or dyed one of those Messinger seats with the molded rubbery cover? Will a paint or dye stick to this material? I have a really nice white one that is discoloring and it wont scrub off.

I don't have a good pic of the seat , but this was an all white Messinger . I cut an "S" out of masking tape and used a good spray vinyl dye . No issues with wear , I do have a couple of scuffs from loading it in the van . Just clean it real good , and if you have some vinyl prep or spray adhesion promoter , it doesn't hurt .
