Painting a Chainguard

I am in need of paint for my chainguard. I have stripped it down to bare chrome and would like to get as close to the original Schwinn Flamboyent Red as possible. Here are before and after pics.

So does anyone have any good sources for paint? AND, what else have you guys done to paint chainguards? Do you need primer? Any good techniques or experiences?

Is it stripped down to chrome?...I'd leave it alone.

I doubt you can match the paint perfect BUT,I would try a Transparent Red model paint spray bomb from your local Hobby Shop.

I say just keep it chrome and put a Jaguar decal on it :wink: It will never match the paint perfect

+1 i think it would look nice all chrome with the red and white out lined decal... just my .2
