Over the past couple years I bought my first bike tools from Park. Started with a set of cone wrenches, then a pedal wrench, a pin spanner, lock ring tool, then a crank removal tool. Then I got the AK-37 as a gift from my in-laws at Christmas.

While recently working on a particularly tight bike part my large Park phillips screwdriver popped, it looked fine, but now the shaft spins in the handle and it's hardly useful. I've got other phillips head screwdrivers, but I decided to check for a warranty, not finding one on the website, I used their contact form and sent them this:

My wife's parents gave me the AK-37 for Christmas, they purchased it off of Amazon.com. This was a great addition to my other Park tools I'd been buying one at a time. I just had a question about warranty. I was using my SD-2 phillips head on a tight screw and head a loud pop! Now the shaft of the screwdriver slips in the handle. Is this something covered under warranty and if so what is the process? Thanks so much, I love you tools.

2 days later I get this response:

Hello Justin,

Thanks for your note.
Sorry the handle spins on your SD-2 large Phillips Screwdriver http://www.parktool.com/product/2-phill ... river-sd-2
A replacement will be sent to your address below.
Please recycle your bad SD-2.

Thanks again
Park Tool Company

No implied warranty, no request for proof of purchase, no request for return of defective item. From now on, it's only Park Tools for me, I've been tempted to buy some cheaper sets to use to carry around, but I will only buy Park now. Customer for life.

Use the right tool for the job, they make them, and they stand by them.

Same here, broke 2 crank removal tools, both replaced no questions asked. I have a lot of Park Tools now.

i have handfulls of park tools, prs-3 stand, pcs-9 stand and a ts-2.2 truing stand i am so happy with my stuff.i had a similar experience when my decals on my pcs-9 stand starting looking shabby i called ask asked for a ordering number so i could order a new decal kit, they just asked for my address and sent me a envelope with a new decal kit!!! park tools has the best customer service !!! and mostly if not all made in USA

At the shop I work at, most of the tools we use are park. They really are nice tools, and they last forever. Great customer service and tools to complete every job.

Yup, Park Tools are worth it. My pedal wrench is no longer working well, it's yawned open a little too large from 20+ years of service. I wonder if they'd replace it?

I need a new chain breaker and was going to the LBS today to get one, now I am going to make sure I get a Park. Thanks Yooth! :D

I bought a Walmart chain break tool, I broke it on the second chain, took it back and got a replacement. That one lasted a little longer, but it was so hard to use! Eventually I added a larger handle and we welded it after it broke, piece of junk, finally threw it away. Bought a nicer one at the bike shop, still a no brand, it worked a lot better, then got a Park chain break tool in my AK-37 tool kit, WOW! This chain brake makes the other ones look like toys! It makes chain breaking effortless while you really had to strain with the others.

even the park ct-5 is alot better than any other breaker from a box store. replaceable pins in it too. they replaced a digital caliper for me no questions asked as well. Love Park Tools !!!

Walmart chain break tools suck broke mine the first time i used it. then I got another one online, not sure who makes it but ive used it about 20 times now with no problems. parks tire repair kits are the only ones ill buy any more. dang that reminds me I need to order a couple more

I got back from our weekend camping trip to a package on my door, now usually I expect packages, so I didn't know what to think of this one till I saw Park Tool on the label, so I knew they had sent my replacement screwdriver.

Well, I forgot to include the part earlier where I asked them for some stickers to put on my tool cart/box/car/truck/etc at the same time I tols them about the screwdriver... I wasn't expecting this!

Park Tool company is AWESOME! I will now be a driving billboard for them all over the place, started shopping for more Park Tools this morning to add to my collection.

The sticker assortment is called "sponsorship decal kit" on the invoice. Maybe I should tell people I'm sponsored now.

Yeah, I've seen that before, I'm sure someone has one and loves it, but I buy my pizza pre-sliced. haha

They also sell bottle openers and they are cool, but more of a novelty.

I think my next Park Tool purchase will be a shop apron.

You're not a real Park fan until you own a TP#2

I'm waiting for my old toilet paper holder to break first.

I have one but it's hard enough getting the wife to change the roll with a conventional holder. She'll never take the extra step of undoing a quick release... :p

There was a guy on the mtbr.com forums that put a Chris King headset on his...
