Okay, looking for a "classic looking" pedal that either lasts forever or is rebuildable or both, reasonable cost. Adult sized. Weight unimportant. Actual bearings handy. What do y'all use?

And looking at pedals, I'm confused by the terminology. I thought all my pedals wre "platform pedals". But i see on this website, they have:
Block Pedal

Caged Pedal
http://www.niagaracycle.com/product_inf ... ts_id=2154
Platform Pedal
http://www.niagaracycle.com/product_inf ... s_id=11568

Now, all three of these I would have called "platform pedals". So what's the difference here?

i would have called them all platforms too.

i generally just buy some of the cheapo schwinn look a like pedals (like what youve got pictured), they're cheap enough and last longer than i usually have the bike for too

i use the third style on my burrito.(made by wellgo) there actually my main form of braking most of the time (grind em til i stop) the rubber has long since ripped off but the pedals are dam near indestructible.
