Pedals and Kickstand For Electra Ghostrider

I could use a little help with the pedals on my Electra Ghostrider. I have been looking for a new set and I see they come in two sizes a 9/16 shaft and a 1/2 shaft. I know the difference is the bigger one is stronger but are the threaded ends the same or do different bikes take different size threads.
What would be a good choice of pedal also I want a high quality pedal with good bearings and a big platform for my big feet. I am trying to stay with a black and chrome theme so either one is fine.
Now the kickstand I am looking for one that has the double legs not sure what you call them but it allows the bike to stand straight up. My kickstand allowed the bike to lean way to much so I removed it like I use to on my other bikes if they had one most did not they we race bikes. So how do I know what will work on my bike I have seen the stands on other bikes here but my mount is right in front of the rear tire so I am not sure if I have the clearance for the double legs. The two different size pedals are in reference to the thread. Measure the OD of the thread of one of your pedals (to the best of your ability if you don't have calipers) and that will tell you which pedal size you need to buy. I couldn't really say what a high quality cruiser pedal would be. I had come to this from the roadie side and had used Speedplay clipless for years but not much of an option in performance pedals for cruisers. Maybe do some research on BMX since they see some abuse (like these maybe http://2009.feltracing.com/09-catalog/p ... -cast.aspx).

Kickstand. Amazon has some listed that might fit the bill.

I recently bought one for my flipped frame bike.
It needed to be adjustable and very tall for my frame, as well as have clearance for my Thick Brick tires..

It was like this one, but not this exact one.

I agree I have not found much I almost was going to go clipless, that is all I ever used for my road and mountain bikes but I don't like the looks for my Ghostrider. I found a set of platform pedals from Bike Nashbar that might work. Thanks Wolfman

That is what I am looking for but I am not sure if it will clear my tires. I guess I could order it and if it does not work just return it, but I was hoping someone had one that they knew for sure worked on my bike. I hate to return things and waist money with return shipping and In most cases you are out the shipping to you also. I will keep this in mind. Thanks Wolfman
