Havent been working on my bike since my inlaws are in town for the weekend, we took them antiquing today and of course I had my eyes peeled for anything that had to do with bikes struck out at the 4 places we went but did find these cool goggles for $1. They need a new strap and the lenses need replaced but they slide out so it should be easy to replace.

Rewired the light tonight and have it running off a rechargeable 6V battery, and decided to use a catseye taillight I got the other day.

The 24x3 I ordered finally came in so I can get to building once I get home this evening.

Needing some input on these drop outs. I'm not sure if it would be strong enough just cutting off the old drop outs and welding on the new ones. dont want it to look to bulky. thought about cutting the hook part of the old drop outs away and sandwiching the new drop outs to what islleft but not sure if that would make it look all hacked up

Just a thought... Since you are modding the dropouts anyway you could lower it and go this direction.

If your welds are good and you use the proper thickness of metal for the new dropouts it shouldn't be an issue.

Drop out blanks are cut now to cut the axle channel

Its getting there, Got to put some time in on it today. Got the dropouts cut and installed and one side of the tank. May do a laid back seat post for it, other than that Im liking the stance.
