Started off building the friction brake.

Cut away the top part of the brake since it wasn't needed

This thing has a serious Mad Max vibe to it.
Glad you cut that other piece from the Oh Poop brake. I was picture the disaster of it catching the tires doing major damage.

Thanks king, Had thought about putting an assist spring on the top part but it took away from the lines of the seat stays so bye bye it went. Should get it done tomorrow, just a little touch up, shining, and powder coat and its DONE.

How well does the brake work?

It will bring it to a nice slow stop, didn't try jamming it on to see if it will lock up the tire.

the dang brake lever strap is all thats left and of course I don't have one that fits. So I will be fabbing one up tomorrow.
