In search of bicyclesidecar data i stumbled upon these:
¨A Philippine pedicab is called a traysikad', trisikad--or simply sikad--or padyak (to tramp or stamp one's feet) and is made by mounting a sidecar to a regular bicycle. ¨ (wiki)

Did some more googling and found out they make awesome chopperbicycles too:
they re called sikad or padyak choppers

LOL, I'm from the Philippines its so nice to see this "PADYAK" on your site. I'm also planning to build my own version for padyak (Ratrod version covered in rust, wink). If I'm correct the picture from above is from Zamboanga, and Padyak choppers are rampant at our town Tarlac.

Hi Hamza, looking forward to see your ratrodpadyak!
I wouldnt know where those pics were taken, i just grabbed them off the net.
But i think the Philippines have some of the best custom bicycles in the world..

Interesting stuff. Really like the choppers with the high backbones. Gives them a true motorcycle fell. Big thanks to karl for finding these.

They had the pedicabs when I was in the Philippines, a few decades ago, but they didn't have those cool choppers. The pedicab drivers were far stronger than they looked.
