Picked up an old swing set today...

OMG! It’s been a while since I’ve posted on the fresh finds... So many local collectors that its getting harder to find any local deals anymore.

Woke up this morning and saw a couple of swing bikes on fb marketplace that had been posted last night... i thought for sure they’d be gone by this morning. I still message the lady that had them for sale and she responds!

So of course my sidekick wife/bike collector and I hop in the truck and rush to get them.

We get to the Lady’s house and just assume that maybe the bikes were her kids as they were growing up. To our surprise, she tells us the green one was hers and her siblings grew up riding these and had every color these 2 were in her mother’s shed and she finally decided to get them out.

Trust me! I already spoke to her about finding the other colors... They seem pretty complete, they obviously show wear but its cool to have the story behind em.

The tires hold air!

Wife and I hoped on them and took them around the block. First time either of us have been on a swing bike... making turns was fun, lol.

Oh! That being said... does anyone know if i should've treated the rubber with anything? It seems pretty stretchy still, like I said before they were stored in a shed. The Slick on the green one is cracked (not through) from sitting on a flat. The yellow one only has light creasing.
