Pics from a recent ride

Took my girl for her first ride since she was a little girl. We're both on holidays at the moment, and it was a gorgeous sunny Winters day (im in Australia) so I told her we're going for a ride :lol: The ride was a nice loop by the local river, linked by two bridges.

She rode my Taboo Tiki cruiser, and I was on my no-name stretch. She had a great time. Im hoping we can take the bikes to the beach sometime

i'm gonna appear a jerk now, but i gotta ask...what's with the helmet?
i assume you're both adults.

Those Tiki bikes are great.
I think they have a helmet law in Australia.

Yeh, we got helmet laws here in Australia. Thats my old mountain biking helmet, I painted it matt black at least :lol: Ive had too many close calls with cars over the years not to wear a helmet though.

Both the bikes are mine, but I think she wants to steal the tiki bike :lol: The way around it is to build her a bike :wink:

Hey,I know a law saying you have to do something, sometimes suck. but if I hadn't been wearing a helmet when I fliped over my bars, I would not be saying this, I'd be worm food.
Long story, Short version, I was off work for most of 3 months with a post-traumatic concussion and when I did return to work I was on lite duty for about a month. I was only going about 10mph, broke a new helmet and racked my bike.
I know there are a lot of new styles of helmets out there, some are cool. So if you you don't look out for your self, big brother will have too.
Doctor bills suck!! My two cents
