The weather was beautiful...as was the scenery so we met up for a short ride around Mission Bay, San Diego...a little ride, a little picking through the trash cans filled with vintage parts at Rusty Spokes Bike Shop and a little lunch...great times

Nice pics. A couple of years ago I spent a week in La Jolla and biked every day from Windnsea beach down to the volley ball courts where the ladies :shock: played volley ball. They tell me there's a parking lot just past there :lol: I never bothered to keep going on the paths around the bay. Next time I go I'll spend more biking time, it's nice biking out there. Where is this Rusty Spokes Bike Shop?

On Garnet street in the Pacific Beach or Mission Beach area, try http://www.rustyspokes.com/ Bike shop has been there a long time and back in the day, Dave had it filled with vintage bikes. Now he sells bikes of his own design. I have seen some of the pics and it was incredible...he still has a lot of old hardware in trashcans to pick through....

Thanks. Thats the street that has the pier with all the cottages on it. Cool I won't miss that on my rides.
