Not sure if there's another thread like this, but anyone else just throw a bunch of parts together just for the heck of it? Usually with the intentions of it being a temporary mock-up...but then ends up staying that way??? I've only been in the hobby for a few months, but I've amassed enough spare parts to put something together. I had a Boardtracker style build in mind, so just slapped this together within a couple nights to see what happened. Looks like it's staying this way for a while.
Frame: '37 Colson LWB Tall "rainbow" frame partially stripped
Forks: 40's(I think) CWC, OG paint
Crank: 50's(I think) Schwinn skiptooth
Bars: Random 60's middleweight
Stem: Early 30's ??
Wheelset: HEAVY DUTY aluminum Worksman w/Shimano 3spd. Custom shifter in the works
Tires: Older Schwalbe Fat Franks
Seat: Brooks B-72
Pedals: Rusty Walds(again, I think)
Cut down short fender on it now, pics later.
First threw on a X-53 springer, but decided to keep it simple and swap it out.
