Congratulations to all the builders! The best part of this "competition" is seeing all of the amazing creativity among the members. The voting is fun,but not as much fun as reading the build threads. I hope the build off stays just as it is. Thank you Steve for a great web site!

Still can't believe my Singlespeed Hotrod is in the top 3 of 13 people... Not too shabby for a cheap diamondframed piece of trash. Never thought I make it into the double digits Thanks to everybody who voted for mine.

I voted for your bike. I did that because, for one, it ended up being a very usable, ride-able bike. Secondly, the difference between the "before" and "after" bikes was absolutely amazing. Thirdly, you started with a frame that I thought wouldn't give you a chance, but you transformed it a very attractive, usable bike (see reasons one and two).

Your bike may have started out as a "cheap diamond framed piece of trash" but it isn't anymore. You deserve every vote you get. You might be surprised you got those votes. I am surprised you didn't get more.

Oh, and reason number four: I am going to steal some of your ideas and use them on bikes of my own.

Thanks man! But still... Let's not forget the competition in this build-off. Lot's of top 5 bikes this year, that could/should have overshadowed mine...

I'm using 8 12 volt LEDs in my taillight, though not many people need to be worried about catching up to me.
