Please explain the "Build Off"

I'm new to RRB and was wondering if information on Build Off 07 is available somewhere. I mean the very basic stuff as well:
What is it? Rules? And any other information a newbie might need.

Am I right in thinking that you can't start the actual bike until May ? I have been gathering parts since way back in the winter and just want to know when I can actually start building my entry.

This will be my first build off too, been collecting parts for years but recently got the perfect bike to make them all fall into place. Only allowed to mock it up in your head till May then the flood gates open and you can start building. May the best bike, trike, quad bike, or unicycle win. :wink:

Have a build in mind but cant do it for the build off unless I wait till after to alter the frame hmmmmm I could do that now to Just find a frame, spoked wheel chair wheels and a saddle

This is my first build off also. I just obtained a bike today for it:

I plan a simple build. No fabrication, no welding. Different tires, wheels, seat, fenders, paint, some other re-arrangements. Nothing special. Just a bike I can ride around with my youngest daughter.

Until a few weeks ago, I had one of these frames, but I got rid of it. Now I have the whole bike, which is better because I have many parts to start with.

I've had a few of those, one I made into the "Brat rod" with some Jesse James WCC chopper 20x3's. :mrgreen:
