Positron problems...

Well I tried to trim down a positron cable on the three speed to make a jockey shift, only to find that you need the housing intact for it to work. tried to shift and the housing moved apart instead of shifting...OOPS! Anyway, will another bell housing, cable and shifter work with the positron hub? It looks similar to a regular pushrod three speed shimano hub.

try searching with the search function.....i know some one had mentioned something that would work(said they did it) but cant remember who it was since it was about a year or so ago

Luckily a well placed hose clamp held the cable in place and everything works, even the jockey shift. yay!

Just posted in another thread, if this refers to linear core (as opposed to normal radial core) sheathing, many lbs can supply you with metal tips to put on the end when resizing.
