possible western flyer?

Well i just picked this up and the previous owner was told it was a western flyer. I have no clue so here i am asking you guys for a little help. Im still relatively new to these older bikes so Im not exactly sure what to look for any info would help.

It has a Murray chainring, could be their frame too. The chainguard and fenders seem to be from something else. It's mostly a mutt. Western Auto bought bikes from almost all bike companies, so unless it says Western Flyer on it somewhere (grips don't count), it's probably not. But it's a great start for a rat! -Adam

Thanks for the info ill have to dig a bit more and see what's under the paint. I think what made them think it was a western flyer were the tires.
