Pre War schwinn need some help!

Well this one is fresh to my stable and needing some identifying what is. I assume schwinn only because of the sprocket. The gap between the fenders and tires leads me to that maybe it had 28" wheels on originally?, but were swapped for 26 long ago? Its is also missing the head badge and want some help finding the correct one here are some pics letme know what you think i have here

Frame construction looks Schwinn to me. Headbadge is tough since so many were used. Perhaps posting the dimensions of the bolt holes will give you an idea of your options. The crank should be dated to give you an approximate year. Oh, that brake arm is mounted upside down.

i think schwinn also sum came with a fender spacer when they switched over to 26 in rims if that helps u any

I have been googlng like crazy! I think it might be a B10-E, does anyone have one here that we can compare? or know what badge they had?

The "E" denotes that the bike was equipped. As in, tank, light, rack, horn, etc. Same frame if all of the measurements stack up, but is more likely a B9.
