Just picked this up. I know the grips, seat, and pedals ore not og. What about the rest? Any one know what year it might be, and what its worth as a complete bike? Paint is consistant throughout so I assume its og, except the details on the fork and seat tube are brighter than the headtube, but dosent show any signs of a repaint. do the details look correct? Any info is greatly appreciated.

BTW it is a 26" and I got it for a little less than the tag on the front fender

you're right, those weld don't look like the rest, looks like they beefed up the rear stays also. The bike rides very nice, smooth and straight, no hands no problem, so I don't think it was wrecked. If its not worth much complete I may tear it down. Bought it mainly becouse it has nice fenders( only one dimple), the wheels are 100% true, rust free chain and the dropstand

Is this a schwinn built bike? Any idea of year? I WOULD feel bad tearing it apart. Will probably keep it for awhile, then sell it.

I think that particular chainring was Rollfast. It's similar to the Hiawatha-Huffman ring but I could be wrong. But, the rest of the bike is Colson. I'd guess it's a 34-35 because of the fork style.

If that's the Louisville Cycle badge, I only thought they were badged on Schwinn products.. mystery thickens.. that could have always been changed though. Nice bike, keep it together!

That's the first Louisville Cycle Supply badge I've ever seen on a non-Schwinn bike. LCS was a big distributor so they evidently sold other brands too. I learn something new on this forum everyday. Gary
