Frame in aged metallic rust and fork in hammered copper. Still uncertain on final colors. So I mocked up the basic assembly to study concept.

2.2", they do look fat. Clearance at rear stay a bit tight depending on chain length.

What brands used this curved seat post frame? I have a 41 Elgin but I've seen this frame with other headbadges.

Elgin is the most common, have seen Firestone badged frames as well.

Good weather today. Scuff sanded frame w/800 grit and cleaned up some dog hair and a small run. I shot another layer or two of the aged metallic rust. I turned it upside down and shot the bottom, flipped it over shot the top and blended everything in.
I know it's not "real rust" but faux. I've decided I like the color and finish. Another color would be easy to top it with in future should the desire come about.

Headbadge should look good even as repop.

Started cleaning up a chain-guard from a girls bike. Removed a few dents and bends. I stripped paint over what appears to be a tan color which based on Elgin postings I've seen, might be original paint.
