Price Check on Aisle 2

I got to talking to a guy at work today who has a 1955 Schwinn Spitfire hanging in his garage. He picked it up at a garage sale several years ago. He replaced the tires but it is otherwise original. He graded it at 8 to 8.5 out of 10. Paint is good, few small dings in the fenders. I haven't seen it yet so no pics, but what would the value of said bicycle be?

Hard to say. In Kansas and all your barns $50-150. On the West Coast $100-250.

Thanks Clancy. I had actually printed up all of the middleweights and ballooner from there to have him do a "photo lineup" since he didn't remember what model he had.
