Price on a Schwinn

So I may have the oppurtunity to buy a (seller described) "1940's Schwinn New World, diamond frame, locking fork, two speed hub, in good shape." for $150. I don't know much about old diamond frame bikes, but something tells me that this might be an okay deal. Sorry no photos. How much do these usually sell for? Thanks in advance.

Thats $150 in parts alone, locking fork , two speed, I would jump on it if its all he says it is.

If it has a New Departure 2-speed you are talking more like $200 for the hub alone if it's in decent shape and works. Gary
