Prices for things then and now.

Is it just me or have prices really gone crazy lately? I was off doing other things for a bit and now I'm getting back in to the swing of things and wow! No deals to be had off this site that I can see. I always loved it here and I think I have gotten some great deals from people on here. Sorry for the rant guys but I just wanted to know if something happend while I was gone that made it that way. I might be way off base too and in that case delete my post and tell me to suck it up! lol.

It seems to me that even on Craigslist and E-bay, what once was junk is now gold.People are asking a lot more for bikes than they are worth, in some cases you wonder if they need med's for delution problems.I would love to have some of the bikes i see, but i refuse to pay more for a 70's Schwinn 10 speed than i did my first motorcycle......lol

Bikes seem to have a renewed interest because of the economy. I think that tends to bring prices up too.
