My estate sale find from last Friday. 100% original right down to the Schwinn white walls...which are in awesome shape.

Hooch convinced me to give this one the treatment. Apparently it's a fairly rare bike and worth a pretty penny.

Definitely not the king, but a few have passed through my hands over the years...

I wouldn't like riding on that coppertone Racer -- second to last pic.

The Traveler is awesome, great score. That's amazing you stripped it down to the frame! I can't wait to see it once you're finished.

You are right. You need at least 20 to become King. 14 just puts you at Addict status.

good thing he doesnt live in Iowa I tend to find a few lol

I actually wish I had that Traveler it would be an awesome companion bike to my black mens 63:)
the nice thing about the stainless fenders is you can tap dents out then softly file and sand high spots til they are perfect :) I used to do musclecar stainless trim years ago

I have a retired neighbor who spends countless hours in his garage cleaning everything from cars to lawnmowers I have tried to get him to clean up bikes for me i told him he would love it lol ..... he hasnt bit yet lol

I'm officially done detailing Schwinn lightweights for the summer. :?

My hands, wrists and fingers are toast. Got tired of staring at this pile of parts in the garage so I decided to knock it out this weekend...despite the 103 temps.

This one is headed to Ebay to see what will happen.
