Hey all..got around to tinkerin' with the Colson , found a correct fork on e pay that was beyond my price range but the seller accepted my offer ...added the seat, front fender and wheels from the pile and bars with tall stem from a.s.boltnut. more later

Made a few changes to the bike and need to get some updated pics, I'm a pedal away from a test ride !
I installed the crank after some cleaning then found a bad thread for the right pedal and no tap to clean it up,
switched the rear wheel for a 24x3 fattie , unfortuneitly the fork wont accept the fat tire up front.
Still on the hunt for a gaurd, head badge and tank...so far the ones I've found were way overpriced.
Luke this frame feels small under me so I used the tall stem for knee clearence and a comfortable riding position.

Some updated pics of the bike, looks much better with the different wheels and tires also switched out the front fender
for a peaked style from the pile. This bike got its first ride today after 60+ years in storage stripped of all its parts !
