Project Shark Fin - Columbia Mountaire - MTB to English roadster

RRB member US56456712 Gave me this bike 5 years ago. I promptly did nothing with it other than putting a suspension fork on it.

Cool Lugged frame.

I parted a 1960's girls Murray lightweight with a 3 speed Shimano. Similar color blue - may use the fork and fenders.

Beat up stickers removed. Stock metallic blue paint not too bad. Added Ross 49t chainring. Wheels and 3 speed Shimano hub from 1960s Murray girls lightweight.
First 3 pics show fenders and fork from same bike.

Same except fork and fenders from German built girl's folding bike. Fork has built in mount for generator headlight.

I like the Murray blue fenders and fork better. Gonna call it "Shark Fin".

Could add a little awesome instead of the intended reduction of suck.

That's too funny,this is the first thing I thought of when I saw the build title. I had one on my Kuwahara Sierra Grande and lost it.I wonder if they are still out there.......I thought they work great!
