View attachment 99057 View attachment 99058 Got some great comments riding today but also concerning when a younger person commented nice Fixie! So it got me thinking on ride back home as it probably looks New to that younger person, so I thought to add some older, patina parts to it, I personally thought it took away from the design integrity of the SK, what do you all think?
Here’s a trial with an X53 chainguard, Thanks.
I think that chainguard would look good on any bike , even a fixie .
:)

The guard ties in the red tires and seat, and less 'fixie'. :21:

Raise the front of the guard to level. Otherwise, it looks really good without the guard as well.

Crusty guard looks good on there and ads some age. That black guard is super cool and might look good with some black fenders.

Think the fixie comment probably has more to do with the bars/riding position. I get the opposite..."Oh I had one just like that"..they never see the modern parts.

Great build. I am pretty sure you can get smaller Monark paisley chainrings. I've never seen anyone use one of those Iver guards on a SK before, but I really like it on there. Keep having fun with your experimentation.

Ok, to get away from that “FIXIE” Look via Bars, going with traditional Bars, Now Right Side Up our Upside down?¿ I guess depends how I want to ride it :)

Your saddle just gave me an idea. What if you got some long springs like those in the saddle, and stretched them between the head tube and the seat tube, in your tank space? :43:

I like the lines on these frames, and your WC Chop tank distracts from those beautiful flowy lines, IMO.

SWEET!! TAKE THAT TANK DOWN TO THE METAL AND NOW WE'RE TALKING. GTB!! PEACE
