Question about making bike Skip-Tooth

If i have a frame that was previousy not skip tooth, and i have a skip tooth front sprocket or make a sprocket skip tooth, what else does this conversion entail? Do i have to have a special chain or rear skip-tooth hub? Thanks for your help.

as well you will need Long hands and shallow Pockets..

in other words..you'll find that they are probably not Cheap!!!

ok so i do need a special chain. But if i have a normal sprocket and hub can i grind of every other tooth?

i dunno about grinding the teeth off its a possibility but the chain will cost usually about $25 for a used one

most people go the other way...they have a skip-tooth and convert it to non-skiptooth...given the price of the chain on eBay, go to non
