Questions about Schwinn 24" S-2 rims

Does anyone know if the 24" Schwinn S-2 rims take a normal 24" tire......like 24x 2.125? If so..does any one have a spare rim thay would sell. Just the hoop would be fine. Thanks!

yup, 24" s-2 will fit any decimal sized tire in 24"

yeshoney had a couple for sale here

ps most were 28hole rims so youd need a 28hole hub laced to it or try to find a 36hole rim (very scarce in 24")

Thanks....I took a look at yeshoneys stuff. I guess I should have asked if they came in 36 hole.

They do come in 36 hole also. I'm pretty sure "bicyclebones" on Ebay still has some in his warehouse. Every once in awhile he'll list them - NOS 24" Schwinn S-2 Chrome 36 hole rims for $85.00 Shipped.
