The frame is your typical department store 20" "stingray" clone from the 70's, probably sears, wards, or something like that. This was actually the second bike I owned, its always been a bit of a rat. After kicking this frame around for years I figured what the heck. I stripped a 20" girls Next for the wheels/tires, crank and chain, grabbed a 26" mtb fork off the pile and an found an old Schwinn seat. The fork is bit too short for the top nut to fit, so I'll have to sort that out but otherwise its good to go. It actually rides very well.

HEY that bike is cool the light on the fork would look even cooler with one on the other side of the fork sort of like a antique car grill look

I think I'm going to call it the schwinnchilada.

Ingredients include grandma's porch railing, lawn mower parts, 2 bike frames, some rebar and a borrowed seat and handlebars. I used a varying diameter of tubes so they could all press fit together before welding. I wasnt really looking forward to grinding all the coating off the bottom tube so i just bolted it in. Rides pretty good! I put 4 miles on it today.

Cool!I like the bolted bottom tube!

What's grandma's reaction?

Maybe somewhere, someones having a good laugh over it. Truth is it makes a much better down tube than it ever did as a shaky old railing.
